What is the DimLux Maxi Controller used for?
The DimLux Maxi Controller is fantastic for improving your grow room environment. This handy controller will regulate your DimLux lighting systems, removing any need for contactors or timers. This will also regulate the output levels to ensure you grow room has a perfect atmosphere all the time. The Maxi Controller will also take care of CO2 distribution and switch heaters and humidifiers on and off. Similarly, using the DimLux with a Maxi Controller allows you to plug directly into a wall socket without needing an intervening relay, time delay unit or timer switch. Therefore, saving you money over time.
Likewise, 1 Maxi Controller can control all ballasts to dim at the same time. This is useful for new crops. Where you can increase the light output by 10% on successive days. A maximum of 160 DimLux ballasts can be connected to the Controller.

How to use the DimLux Maxi Controller
The controller communicates with the DimLux ballasts or the light fixtures by the means of a signal cable, which connects between the controller and the various ballasts and light fixtures. As a result, the Controller regulates and operates the lighting, CO2, VPD status and any other connected components (AUX). The temperature sensor measures the room temperature and will need protecting against light. Whereas, the RH% sensor measures the relative humidity in the room. This is necessary to determine the VPD or to control a humidifier or a dehumidifier. Plus, the RH% sensor should also hang in the shade. You can read and control the current CO2 level in a room using a very accurate dual-beam CO2 sensor. Therefore, The sensor can control a CO2 generator or a cold CO2 installation. You can measure the temperature of a crop using the plant temperature camera.
