What is the Green Box Roof Grow Tent used for?

Specially made to be strong enough to house vital growing equipment, such as Grow Lights, Filter Kits and more, our Green Box Roof Grow Tents are one of the most popular Roof Grow Tents on the market today.

Each Grow Tent includes heavy duty thick steel poles, metal corners and 610D Silver Mylar. These elements provide gardeners with the perfect environment to grow indoor plants which subsequently produces large crops and yields.

Where can you use the Green Box Roof Grow Tent?

Due to the specially designed 45-degree slanted roof, our Green Box Roof Grow Tents can be used in numerous locations. For example, someone who lives in a small house could place the Roof Grow Tent in their attic as the slanted roof would fit perfectly in an attic corner. In addition, someone who lives in a house with a basement may find the Roof Grow Tent beneficial as the low 1.8 & 1.6-meter hight of the Grow Tent would easily fit into a low roofed room, such as a basement.

How to use the Green Box Roof Grow Tent

Before you take the Green Box Roof Grow Tent out of its box, move the box and components to the room you’d like the Grow Tent to live in. This is because once the Grow Tent is set up it would be hard to move it into another room.

Once you have placed the Grow Tent box into the room you’d like to set it up in, simply remove all of its components from the box and lay them out in front of you. This will help you identify which parts are which.

Now you have the Grow Tent components in front of you, start inserting the poles labelled ‘A’ into the traditionally shaped steel corners. Make sure the corners with rubber feet on are facing down as this will reduce the risk of damage occurring to the Grow Tents floor.

Next, clip the poles and corners together to form the Grow Tents base. Once the base has been finished, start clipping together poles ‘B and C’ to form the vertical support poles. Now clip all the vertical support poles into the base corners and clip the remaining corners on top of these support poles. Insert the remaining poles into these corners to form a ‘V’ shape and secure together.

As a top tip, we suggest you don’t place the frame too close to a wall as this will hinder you when you come to wrapping the silver mylar around the frame.

Installing a Grow Tents Silver Mylar

Now you have the frame of the Grow Tent, the next step is to install the silver mylar. To do this, locate the roof section of the mylar and place this over the Grow Tent frame. Next, slide the mylar floor section under the Grow Tent frame. Make sure to support the frame so it doesn’t fall over. Once the roof and floor sections are secure, wrap the remaining mylar cover around the frame, making sure to zip the cover in place whilst you go along.

Finally, secure the removable mylar floor with the attached velcro straps and reposition the hanging brackets to a position that suits your growing needs.
