The Hailea Pump ACO 2201 – 2206 are fantastic pumps that are able to produce a great air-flow rate at 1.3 litres per minute. Perfect for growers looking at an affordable option for oxygenating their nutrient reservoir.
What is the Hailea Pump ACO 2201 – 2206 used for?
The Hailea Pump ACO 2201 – 2206 provides growers with an easy solution for keeping their nutrient reservoir fully oxygenated. These small-sized units produce incredible air-pressure, considering how small they are. Therefore, as air is taken in on the underside of the unit, the oscillating diaphragm pushes the air through the single output nozzle on the front of the unit. Plus, the rubber feet on the bottom of the pump help to keep noise level to a minimum. Also, the power consumption is surprisingly very low, at a rate between 1.8 watts to 8 watts.
Where can you use the Hailea Pump ACO 2201 – 2206?
This pump is specifically for use within aquariums or nutrient reservoirs. You’ll want to add a pump into your nutrient reservoir, This is because it will improve the amount of available oxygen in your system. As we are all well aware, oxygen is a crucial part of photosynthesis, therefore a pump will increase your plant’s performance.
How to use the Hailea Pump ACO 2201 – 2206
To use this pump, place your air pump in close proximity to your nutrient reservoir. Ideally, you’ll want to place it on a flat surface, above the water level of the reservoir you are wanting to oxygenate. Then connect your airline to the output nozzle, sliding it firmly over the ridges. If you find it difficult to push the airline over the nozzle. You may want to try softening the tube in warm water.
After that, fit your airstone into the other end of the airline pump, preferably keeping the airline as short as possible. Finally, plug the air pump into a mains outlet socket and switch it on. The pump should now pull in air from the underside of the unit and out through the airstone.
