When growing it is paramount that you ensure your nutrient strength has been calibrated to the correct strength. This is possible with the Vitalink CF Calibration Fluid.

What is the purpose of the Vitalink CF Calibration Fluid? 

The Vitalink CF Calibration Fluid has been designed to maintain accurate an EC level within your plants. EC is very influential to your plant’s ability to absorb water. If EC is too high, the plants will struggle with the concentration of ion – as a result, increases the chance of toxicity. However, if the EC is too low plants can starve from the lack of nutrients.

Regular calibration is crucial to maintaining an accurate EC meter for the best plant growth. Plants will require different CF/EC levels throughout both the flowering and vegetation stages, if you do not regulate this then your plants can deteriorate.

Who Can Use The Vitalink CF Calibration Fluid?

This particular product is for use by those of you who are keen to measure the accuracy of your pH levels in order to obtain the best growth rates. Firstly pour a small amount into a small bottle, then using the instructions on your chosen meter, this should indicate a CF 28 or EC 2.8. Once calibrated make sure the probe is cleaned. You must dispense of the solution, do not put this back into the bottle after use.

In addition, to make your calibration more accurate you may want to use Vitalink Essentials Buffer 4  or Vitalink Essentials Buffer 7.
